WATER SOFTENING
Water softening is the removal of calcium, magnesium, iron and manganese in water. The resulting soft water extends the lifespan of plumbing and appliances due to the removal of these substances that cause calcium build-up (scale).
Primary Applications
Our water softeners range from residential to large-scale industrial and municipal systems, are fully automatic and supplied as a complete unit with brine drums, inlet and outlet connections, and where applicable,SMART controllers for initiation of regeneration of the resin.
The systems can be single or multiple tank configurations, with fully automated regeneration controls.
FILTRATION
Filtration is a process by which suspended solids are separated from fluids. Typically filtration is achieved by passing a liquid containing suspended solids through a media designed to remove these solids and backwash to waste.
These systems are largely automatic and combine single or multiple tanks for small to large applications and flow rates.
The types of media filtration include:
Activated Carbon: Used to remove taste, odour, colour and chlorine
Macrolite: Ceramic based media used to remove fine particles down to 5 micron
Calcite: Used for pH neutralising systems
Turbidex: Single media used for sediment removal
Primary Applications
We can also offer cartridge (single and cluster) and bag filter type filtration.
Our water softening and filtration systems form an integral part of the design of our Turn key water purification systems.
